The candidate of the Allied People’s Movement (APM) for the Ibadan South West/North West Federal Constituency, Hon. Akin Fagbemi, has congratulated Muftau Open Salawu on his emergence and official unveiling as the Deputy Governorship candidate of the party in Oyo State.

Fagbemi described Salawu’s emergence as a well-deserved recognition of his commitment, leadership qualities, and contributions to the growth of the party. He expressed confidence that Salawu’s experience as a politician and entrepreneur would add value to the party’s governorship ticket ahead of the 2027 elections.

The federal constituency candidate also wished Salawu success in the task ahead and urged party members and supporters across the state to remain united and committed to the collective goal of securing victory for the APM in the forthcoming gubernatorial election.

Salawu, an indigene of Ogbomoso, was officially unveiled as the party’s Deputy Governorship candidate amid growing optimism among party faithful regarding the prospects of the APM in Oyo State politics.
