Aides Congratulate Oyo Deputy Governor On Award Of Recognition

The Nine aides of Oyo Deputy Governor Alhaji Abdulraheem Adebayo Lawal, have extended their warm congratulations to him on the award of recognition to be conferred on him by the Organising committee of the 10th Omituntun Ramadan Lecture series scheduled to hold on Saturday 23rd of March, 2024, describing it as well deserved.

Alhaji Kunle Sanni, the Special Assistant to Oyo Deputy Governor on Administration, who spoke on behalf of other aides, said Alhaji Lawal has contributed immensely to the development of Islam and demonstrated commitment to peace and religious tolerance amongst various faiths in the state.

According to him, the award is a confirmation of Barr. Lawal as a man of peace and and an advocate of good governance.

While commending Governor Makinde for approving the award, Sanni noted that Lawal is a progressive politician who has continued to use his resources for the common good of all.

He said: “His exemplary leadership qualities have continued to promote religious tolerance and good neighborly co- existence among diverse religious sects in the state.

“ Barr. Lawal has so far shown a firm resolve to work closely with Governor Seyi Makinde to create a better reality for every resident of Oyo State.

Sanni equally described Lawal as a gentleman, a pious Muslim, a loyal Deputy and a role model, just as he expressed delight that he is being recognised by the organisers of the Omituntun Ramadan Lecture series 2024 edition.

“On behalf of all the Special Assistants in the office of the deputy governor, we congratulate you sir,” he said.

The Omituntun Ramadan Lecture series is an annual event organised by Governor Seyi Makinde. This year event marks the 10th anniversary.
