The Executive Chairman of Ibarapa North Local Government and the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) candidate for Ibarapa Central/Ibarapa North State Constituency, Hon. Lawal Adebare Akorede, has congratulated the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, on the occasion of his seventh year in office.

In a statement issued on Friday, Hon. Akorede described Governor Makinde’s administration as a symbol of purposeful governance, noting that the Governor has continued to justify the confidence reposed in him by the people of Oyo State through impactful projects and people-oriented policies.
According to him, the steady infrastructural growth, improved economic opportunities and reforms across critical sectors have positioned Oyo State as one of the fastest-developing states in Nigeria.

“Governor Seyi Makinde’s leadership over the past seven years has shown that governance can truly work for the people when driven by sincerity, competence and compassion.


“His administration has brought meaningful progress to communities across the state through strategic investments in education, healthcare, road infrastructure, agribusiness, youth empowerment, security and many others.


“The Governor has remained committed to grassroots development and inclusive governance and this has earned him the admiration and support of the masses,” Akorede stated.

The council chairman also commended Makinde for maintaining a governance style anchored on accountability, transparency and accessibility, adding that the Governor’s achievements have continued to inspire confidence among residents and investors alike.

The House of Assembly hopeful also reaffirmed the support and loyalty of the people of Ibarapa North Local Government and the Ibarapa axis to the Makinde-led administration, praying for greater wisdom, strength and divine guidance for the Governor as he continues to lead the state toward greater heights.
