The Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Inclusion, Hon. Toyin Balogun, has extended warm but sombre greetings to Muslim faithful in Oyo State and across Nigeria on the occasion of the 2026 Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
In her goodwill message, Hon. Balogun congratulated the Muslim Ummah for witnessing yet another Eid-el-Kabir, urging all to uphold the values of sacrifice, love, obedience, peace, and compassion which the festival symbolizes.
She emphasized the importance of unity, tolerance, and mutual support among citizens, noting that the lessons of Eid-el-Kabir should inspire Nigerians to continue promoting peaceful coexistence and collective progress in society.
The Commissioner also encouraged residents of Oyo State to use the festive period to pray for the continued peace, stability, development of the state and the nation at large and a safe return of our children, women and male citizens of the state kidnapped recently

Hon. Balogun reaffirmed the commitment of the Oyo State Government to the welfare, inclusion, and empowerment of Women, Children,People Living With Disabilities, the Elderly and other vulnerable groups, while wishing all Muslim faithful a peaceful, joyous, and fulfilling Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
