In every political generation, destiny raises a leader whose impact transcends ordinary representation and evolves into transformational statesmanship. For the good people of Ibadan Northeast and Ibadan Southeast Federal Constituency, that leader is undeniably Abass Adigun Agboworin — a man whose tenure since 2019 has become a reference point for purposeful leadership, infrastructural revolution, and people-oriented governance.

As the political atmosphere gradually gathers momentum ahead of another decisive electoral season, one truth continues to resonate across wards, communities, and political structures: performance deserves continuity.

From the very moment he assumed office in 2019, Rep. Abass Adigun Agboworin did not approach governance as a ceremonial privilege; rather, he embraced it as a social contract with the people. Through visionary representation, strategic legislative intervention, and grassroots political engineering, he has consistently demonstrated what true democratic dividends should look like.

His administration has empowered countless youths and women across the constituency through economic intervention programmes, entrepreneurial support schemes, and empowerment initiatives designed to reduce poverty and stimulate financial independence. In a time where unemployment remains a major national challenge, Agboworin chose productivity over propaganda by facilitating meaningful employment opportunities for numerous young people, thereby restoring hope to families and strengthening the socioeconomic fabric of the constituency.

Beyond human capital development, his infrastructural footprint remains boldly visible across communities. The installation of solar-powered street lights across strategic areas within the constituency has not only illuminated roads and neighborhoods but has equally enhanced security, boosted commercial activities, and improved the general standard of living of the people. This is governance with visibility. This is leadership with evidence.

Security, being the cornerstone of sustainable development, also received unprecedented attention under his representation. The construction of a Modern Police Station within the constituency stands as a strategic intervention aimed at safeguarding lives and properties while reinforcing peace and public confidence in law enforcement structures. Such proactive governance reflects a leader who understands that development cannot thrive in an atmosphere of insecurity.

Education, the bedrock of civilization and societal advancement, has equally benefited immensely from his progressive leadership. Through the construction and support of schools within the constituency, Rep. Agboworin has continued to invest in the intellectual future of the next generation. He understands clearly that the strength of tomorrow’s society depends largely on the quality of educational opportunities provided today.

Perhaps one of the most historic and monumental achievements linked to his legislative influence and political dexterity is the facilitation of the largest Air Force Base in the entire Southwestern region of Nigeria, strategically located in Ajia. This singular achievement is not merely an infrastructural milestone; it is a socio-economic and security masterstroke capable of opening new developmental frontiers, attracting investments, creating employment opportunities, and strengthening regional security architecture for generations to come.

Without mincing words, Rep. Abass Adigun Agboworin has redefined constituency representation through pragmatic leadership, political sophistication, and developmental diplomacy. He has proven beyond reasonable doubt that effective representation is not about empty rhetoric or seasonal appearances, but about consistent service delivery, accessible leadership, and measurable impact.

As he seeks a third term in office, the decision before the people is not merely political — it is strategic. Re-electing Agboworin means consolidating progress, sustaining development, and preserving a leadership structure that has consistently prioritized the welfare of the masses above personal interests.

The people must understand that continuity in governance often guarantees the completion of ongoing developmental blueprints and expands the frontiers of democratic dividends. A performing legislator with tested competence, political experience, grassroots acceptance, and an established developmental track record should not be substituted for uncertainty.

Today, the political equation is simple:

Vision deserves continuity. Capacity deserves endorsement. Performance deserves reward.

The mandate to re-elect Abass Adigun Agboworin for a third term is not just a political choice; it is a collective investment in sustainable growth, progressive representation, and the future prosperity of Ibadan Northeast / Ibadan Southeast Federal Constituency.
