A high-powered delegation from Ona Ara Local Government, led by the Chief of Staff to the Executive Chairman, the Council Secretary, and Supervisory Councilors, on Wednesday paid a congratulatory visit to Hon. (Dr.) Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji (OTOPE) at his residence.
The visit followed OTOPE’s emergence as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) consensus candidate for Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency ahead of the 2027 general elections, a development the delegation described as a reflection of his wide acceptability, political maturity, and enduring commitment to grassroots development.
The delegation commended OTOPE for his consistent dedication to the growth of Egbeda and Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, noting that his emergence was not only well deserved but also a product of years of impactful service, loyalty to party ideals, and strong connection with the people.
Speaking on behalf of the team, the officials described OTOPE as a bridge-builder, dependable leader, and symbol of unity, whose influence continues to inspire confidence across political, social, and community lines. They stressed that his candidacy embodies the collective desire of the people for quality, responsive, and people-oriented representation at the National Assembly.
The Chief of Staff and Council Secretary further reaffirmed the local government team’s readiness to work closely with OTOPE’s political structure, assuring him that the institutional experience, strategic grassroots reach, and mobilization strength of the Supervisory Councilors would be fully deployed to complement the party’s efforts toward victory in 2027.

The visit concluded with group photographs and prayers for sustained peace, unity, and development in Ona Ara Local Government, Egbeda, and the entire federal constituency.
