*Lagelu Residents Applaud Hon. AKT as Completed Amotekun Office Awaits Commissioning*

Residents of Lagelu Local Government have been urged to take note of the successful completion of the Amotekun Corps office constructed by the lawmaker representing Lagelu State Constituency at the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Olajide Akintunde, popularly known as AKT.

The newly completed security facility, strategically situated within Lagelu Local Government, recently received an inspection visit from the Commandant of the Oyo State Security Network Agency, Col. Olayanju Bisiriyu Olayinka, who assessed the structure ahead of its official commissioning.

During the inspection tour, the Commandant commended the initiative and described the project as a significant contribution to community security and grassroots safety. According to him, the provision of a well-structured office for Amotekun operatives will greatly enhance their operational efficiency in safeguarding lives and property across Lagelu and its surrounding communities.

Hon. AKT, whose representation has continued to attract developmental strides across Lagelu, explained that the project was conceived as part of his commitment to strengthening local security architecture and supporting the efforts of the state government in maintaining peace and order.

Community stakeholders and residents who witnessed the inspection expressed appreciation to the lawmaker for prioritizing security, noting that the presence of a dedicated Amotekun facility will boost rapid response to security challenges and reinforce confidence among residents.

The project is expected to be formally commissioned soon, marking another milestone in Hon. AKT’s record of community-oriented representation and his continuous collaboration with security agencies to ensure a safer and more secure Lagelu Local Government.
