The Forum of 2021–2024 Councillors in Ido Local Government, under Oyo Federal Constituency (Ido/Ibarapa), has reaffirmed its unwavering loyalty to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and pledged continued support for the administration of Seyi Makinde ahead of the 2027 political cycle.

 

The reaffirmation came during a mandated meeting convened by the executive of the 2021–2024 Councillors’ Forum, where members described the gathering as successful and impactful.

 

At the end of the meeting, the councillors collectively pledged their allegiance to the PDP under the leadership of Governor Makinde, expressing readiness to work assiduously for the sustenance and consolidation of the Omituntun 3.0 agenda, which they noted has continued to deliver positive impacts across Oyo State.

 

The councillors present at the meeting include Akanji Jelili, Yekeen Sulaimon Ojo, Rafiu Omotosh, Yahaya Abdulazeez, Oladokun Wasiu, Tirimisiyu Abidoye, Adebowale Adedeji, Lateef Akeem O., and Joseph Omolade.

 

Speaking after the meeting, members emphasized the importance of unity, loyalty, and grassroots mobilization in strengthening the PDP’s structure within Ido Local Government and beyond.

They commended Governor Makinde’s visionary leadership and developmental strides, reiterating their commitment to ensuring continued progress under the Omituntun 3.0 initiative.

 

The forum offered prayers for the continued success of the PDP, the advancement of Omituntun 3.0, and the prosperity of Ido Local Government.

 

They concluded with a collective call for sustained peace, unity, and development across the local government area and Oyo State at large.
