LG Poll: Excitement in Ajia As GLOWIN Campaign Team Visits Traditional Council, OTOPE Distributes Foodstuffs to People

The campaign train of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Ona-Ara Local Government area of Oyo State landed in Ward 8, Ajia, today Wednesday 6th March, 2024 as the Parakoyi of Ajia land, Hon Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji (OTOPE) played host to them.

The campaign team stopped by at the Palace of Alajia of Ajia land, HRH Oba Engr. Nureni Yusuf where the chairmanship candidate Hon (Dr) Kolapo Temitope Glorious, Vice-chairmanship candidate, Hon Windapo Oluwole and Councilorship candidates for Ward 8 received royal blessings from the monarch.

In his remarks, Oba Nureni Yusuf lauded Governor Seyi Makinde’s approach to governance where he pledged support for PDP’s candidates in the forthcoming Local Government elections.

On his part, the Director-General Campaign for Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, Hon Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji politically addressed as OTOPE urged all the party faithfuls and supporters to vote for all PDP at the forthcoming Local Government Elections.

OTOPE said, “we are enjoying Governor Seyi Makinde’s work in this town and the good work must continue by retaining PDP at the helm of the council affairs.

OTOPE also distributed raw food items to party faithfuls that attended the campaign rally to cushion the economic hardship in the country presently.

The event was graced by party stakeholders, leaders and groups, including Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) Ona Ara Chapter, Foazey Group, OTOPE Foundation, Hon. Mufutau Ogunremi, PDP Oyo State Deputy Chairman (Central) and SSA to Governor on Sustainable Development Goals; Hon Mosobalaje Bakare, PDP Ona Ara Party Chairman; Hon. Fatai Olapade, Ona Ara Local Government Vice Chairman, Hon. Ezekiel Oladimeji Temitope OTOPE, DG Oyo State Liaison office Lagos and Abuja, Hon. Adekunle Mahruf, House Leader, Ona Ara Local Government Legislative Arms, DG GLOWIN Campaign, Pa. Adurodekun, Mogaji Taiwo Oke, Deputy DG GLOWIN Campaign, Hon Ifeoluwa Akande, Hon. Niyass among other members and other dignitaries.

The Campaign team later visited Ward 9 Olorunshogo Area to canvass support for GLOWIN’2024 candidacy.
