The Member representing Ibadan North Constituency I at the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Olufunke Comforter Adeniyi-Olajide, has once again demonstrated her unwavering commitment to grassroots development as she officially commenced The Phase 2 of her Olutunu De Empowerment Programme at her Constituency Office in Yemetu.

The Programme runs from Wednesday, 11th of February to Friday, 13th of February 2026
The Empowerment initiative, which focuses on practical skill acquisition and vocational training, is designed to equip selected constituents with sustainable means of livelihood and promote economic independence.

This second phase covers five major skill areas, including:


* Barbing
* Shoe Making
* Tie and Dye (Adire)
* Waste-to-Wealth
* Cosmetology and Cosmetics Production
Selected participants from across the constituency turned out in large numbers, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to learn profitable skills that will enable them to become self-reliant and employers of labour.

Hon. Olufunke Comforter reaffirmed her dedication to human capacity development, stating that empowering the people with practical skills remains one of the most effective ways to reduce unemployment and improve living standards within the constituency.

All facilitators and trainers were fully on ground to ensure a smooth take-off of the programme, providing professional guidance and hands-on training to participants.
The Olutunu De Empowerment Programme continues to stand as a testament to purposeful leadership, responsive representation, and a genuine passion for community growth and development.
