The Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Adeojo, has officially sworn in Mrs. Mariam Ishola as the new Supervisor Councillor representing Ward 8 and Mr. Emiola Abdulramoh as Special Assistant to the Local Government from Ward 10.

The swearing-in ceremony, held at the Ido Local Government Secretariat, marked another significant step in strengthening grassroots governance and service delivery within the council area.
In his address, Hon. Adeojo congratulated the newly appointed officials and charged them to justify the confidence reposed in them through dedication, loyalty, and commitment to the development of Ido Local Government.

He emphasized the importance of teamwork, transparency, and people-oriented leadership in achieving meaningful progress.


The Council Chairman also commended the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for his exemplary leadership and commitment to transparency, accountability, and sustainable development across the state.
He noted that the governor’s support for local governments has continued to enhance effective governance at the grassroots level.

Hon. Adeojo further praised party members for their unwavering loyalty and steadfast support, describing them as the backbone of the party’s strength and success in the local government.

In their separate remarks, Mrs. Mariam Ishola and Mr. Emiola Abdulramoh expressed appreciation to the chairman and party leadership for the opportunity to serve, pledging to discharge their duties diligently and in the interest of the people.
The event was attended by party leaders, stakeholders, council staff, and supporters who gathered to witness the occasion.
