The lawmaker representing Ido Local Government Constituency at the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Razaq Mabaje, has announced an empowerment programme aimed at supporting 500 constituents across various sectors.
The initiative will benefit farmers, market men and women, business owners, community leaders, and party members, as part of Hon. Mabaje’s ongoing commitment to grassroots development and economic empowerment.
According to the lawmaker, a total sum of ₦25 million has been set aside for the programme, with each beneficiary receiving ₦50,000. The empowerment cuts across indigenes and party members within the constituency.
The empowerment programme is scheduled to hold tomorrow, Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at the Ido Local Government Council Secretariat, by 10:00 a.m.
Hon. Mabaje noted that the initiative is designed to ease economic challenges, support small-scale businesses, and improve the livelihoods of residents within the constituency.
