In commemoration of the Golden Jubilee celebrations marking 50 years of Oyo State, the Executive Chairman of Ona Ara Local Government, Dr. Temitope Kolapo Glorious, has announced the approval of 600 free JAMB forms for qualified indigene students of the local government.
The initiative, aimed at expanding access to tertiary education and easing the financial burden on parents and guardians, is part of the Chairman’s people-focused educational empowerment agenda under the Oyo @50 celebrations.
A press statement personally signed by the Chairman himself and made available to newsmen in Ibadan, described the gesture as another landmark intervention, noting that Dr. Glorious has once again surpassed his previous record of distributing 500 free JAMB forms last year.
According to the statement, interested students are required to submit the following details: Full Name, JAMB Profile Code, NIN, and active WhatsApp number at the Office of the Executive Chairman, Ona Ara Local Government Secretariat, preferably 16 years old starting from Monday, 2nd February, 2026.
Dr. Glorious reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to investing in education as a catalyst for sustainable development and urged beneficiaries to take full advantage of the opportunity to pursue their academic aspirations.
