The Chairman of Ibadan North-East Local Government, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo, has joined the people of Ibadan, the Oyo State Traditional Council and residents of the state in celebrating the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, on his emergence as the Chairman of the Oyo State Council of Obas and Chiefs.

Hon. Akintayo made this known following the inauguration of the Oyo State Council of Obas and Chiefs by Governor Seyi Makinde on Thursday in Ibadan.
According to the council chairman, the elevation of Oba Ladoja to the position of chairman of the council is timely and well deserved, given his vast experience in leadership and deep understanding of governance and traditional institutions.

He expressed confidence that the Olubadan’s wealth of experience and wisdom would contribute significantly to the effective coordination of the council, promote unity among traditional rulers and further strengthen peace and stability across Oyo State.


Hon. Akintayo congratulated Oba Ladoja on the new responsibility and wished him a successful tenure, noting that his leadership would positively impact the traditional institution and the overall development of the state.
