The lawmaker representing Ibadan North-East/South-East Federal Constituency, Rep. Abass Adigun (Agboworin) has congratulated Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja on his emergence as the National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at the just concluded national convention in Ibadan.
Agboworin, in a press statement signed by his Media Group, described Arapaja’s emergence as historic and well-deserved victory.
While noting that he is confident that Arapaja’s vast experience and expertise would undoubtedly be a valuable asset to the PDP as it navigates the challenges ahead, Agboworin vowed to give his full support and cooperation.
Equally, the lawmaker commended the PDP for conducting a free, fair, and transparent election, which has ushered in a new era of leadership and hope for the party.
“I want to use this medium to congratulate Ambassador Arapaja on this well-deserved victory and assure him of our full support and cooperation as he embarks on this new journey.
“We are confident that his leadership will drive the PDP to greater heights and make it a formidable force in Nigerian politics ahead of the 2027 general elections,” the statement said.
