Hon. POLAM Applauds Oyo State Government for Approving ₦38.6 Billion Reconstruction of Igboho–Kishi Road

The Federal Lawmaker representing Irepo/Orelope/Olorunsogo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. (Dr.) Prince Olaide Lateef Mohammed (POLAM), has commended the Oyo State Government under the leadership of His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, FNSE, and his Deputy, Barr. Bayo Lawal, for the approval of ₦38.6 billion for the reconstruction of the 30-kilometre Igboho–Kishi Road under the Old Irepo Federal Constituency.

Hon. Olaide Lateef, in his statement, said:

“As a Federal Lawmaker and a Prince deeply devoted to the infrastructural advancement of my constituency, I cannot overlook this laudable gesture by the Oyo State Government . This singular decision will not only stimulate economic growth and ease of transportation within the Old Irepo axis, but will also enhance the socio-economic wellbeing of our people. This will equally allow me to focus more on my primary legislative responsibilities at the federal level.”

He further noted that such interventions by the state government complement the ongoing legislative and developmental efforts at the federal level, fostering balanced progress across all tiers of government.

In his concluding remarks, Hon. Olaide Lateef Mohammed urged the Oyo State Government to extend similar attention to the rehabilitation of internal road networks across Irepo, Orelope, and Olorunsogo Local Government Areas, to further consolidate the gains of this vital road project.
