The lawmaker representing Ibadan North East/South East federal constituency, Rep. Abass Adigun (Agboworin), has extended warm congratulations to Ambassador Taofeek Oladejo Arapaja on his nomination as the consensus candidate for the position of National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
He noted that Ambassador Arapaja’s nomination is a clear acknowledgment of his dedication and integrity.
He stated this in a statement signed by his Media Group on Wednesday, and made available to journalists in Ibadan.
Agboworin equally praised Oyo State Governor, His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde’s endorsement of Arapaja, describing it as visionary and commitment to excellence in his political representation.
He maintained that Governor Makinde has once again demonstrated leadership that prioritizes unity, merit, and the collective interest of the party.
The two term lawmaker, however, wished him success on the new role.
