Davido 5ive Concert: C’ttee Chairman Don Tee, Applauds Gov Makinde’s Commitment to Local Industry Participation

The Chairman Organizing Committee of Davido 5ive Concert in Ibadan, Tony Awobode Don TEE, has lauded the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr Seyi Makinde for his efforts to involve local industries in the upcoming Davido 5ive Concert in Ibadan.

Speaking on the development, in a conversation with the newsmen, Don Tee expressed appreciation for the governor’s commitment, saying, Governor Makinde’s focus on local participation will not only make the event successful but also boost the local economy.

The concert, expected to draw massive crowds, is being touted as a major event for Ibadan and a showcase of Oyo State’s entertainment and business potential.

Don Tee assured that the committee is working closely with the state government to deliver a world-class experience.

The statement further read in parts; “The Organizing Committee of the Davido 5ive Concert wishes to acknowledge the insightful publication titled “Ibadan’s Big Break: How the Davido 5ive Concert Can Power Our Local Industry and Why Local Artistes Must Get Some Spots to Showcase.”

“We deeply appreciate the perspective and advocacy expressed. It captures the very essence of what the Oyo State Government through the Agency for Youth Development, envisioned when initiating this landmark concert: a platform that not only entertains but also empowers.

“His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, has shown keen personal interest in ensuring that this event reflects his administration’s inclusive policy towards local talent development and creative industry expansion. The Governor’s commitment to youth empowerment and creative excellence remains steadfast, and his office continues to lend active support to every phase of planning and execution.

“I am pleased to state that most of the recommendations outlined in the publication have already been addressed or are currently being implemented.
