The National Association of Polytechnic Engineering Students has honoured the Chairman of Local Government Staff Pension Board, Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige with an award of excellence.
The award was in recognition of Hon. Ige’s outstanding performance towards the services of humanity, dedication, support and positive attitude towards development of the faculty of Engineering.
The Award dated 25th September, 2025 presented to Hon. Ademola Ige in his office by the President of the association, Comrade Bamidele Mujeeb Olawale on behalf of the association is to further recognize and appreciate him for his keen interest and passion for youth development and society as a whole.
Reacting to the award, Hon. Ademola Ige expressed his excitement and appreciation to the leadership of the association for counting him worthy of this recognition.
He recalled that this similar award was presented to him by the Faculty of Engineering during its STEEM 2025 National Conference on Monday 30th June, 2025 for his numerous support and contributions to his Alma mata.
He promised that he will continue to do more for the betterment of the association and the youth as a whole.
