The Outcome of PDP Ward and Local Congress is Proof That PDP is a Party to Beat” —Ibarapakan

Member representing Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency, Hon. Dr. Anthony Adebayo Adepoju, has congratulated all the newly elected Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ward and local government executives in the federal constituency.

The election to determine new PDP ward and local government executives in Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North was held and supervised by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the federal constituency on Saturday.

According to Hon. Adepoju, the outcome of the peaceful election without any form of rancour or bitterness is proof that the PDP in Ibarapa Land and the rest of the geopolitical zones in the state is a formidable party where members have one goal, which is to win all elections.

Ibarapakan also congratulated all the new executives of the party and those re-elected to serve the party. He said their emergence was as a result of their loyalty to the party and their ability to broker peace for the continued success of the PDP at all levels.

The federal lawmaker also sneered at the peddlers of fake information, saying that Oyo State PDP, under the leadership of His Excellency Engr. Seyi Makinde, is not only united but also poised to emerge victorious in all elections.

“The PDP is a party to beat; it has not only become autopilot but also determined and committed to winning any election. Ibarapa Land is a PDP stronghold; this is a party that the people of Ibarapa Land have continued to trust since 2019, resulting in 99.9% electoral victories of the party in federal, state and local elections. As a party that enjoys such legitimacy from the people, we owe the public nothing but behaviour that shows fairness, integrity and decency.

“The ward and local elections to produce new party executives in our constituency have been held; the process is flawless simply because of the unity that characterises our party. Those re-elected should see it as an opportunity to do more for our party, build on past successes, learn from challenges and implement new initiatives that result in achieving the PDP’s goals, while strengthening our party’s presence in every nook and cranny of the constituency,” he said.

While commending the supervision of the INEC officials during the exercise, the Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Federal Character lauded the exemplary leadership style of Engr. Seyi Makinde in stabilising the PDP in Oyo State and throughout the federation.
