Thank You for Giving Us a Youth as Rep-Elect in Ibadan North” —Adebowale Congratulates Fola DoN, Applauds Gov. Makinde

The Chairman of the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development, Hon. Adebowale Adebayo Falana, has commended the electorates of Ibadan North Federal Constituency for electing a prominent youth advocate as Rep-elect, Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle DoN.

It could be recalled that the Bye-Election to fill the vacant seat of Ibadan North Federal Constituency was held yesterday.

In a statement released and made available to newsmen on Sunday, by the Head of the Media Unit to the Chairman, Opeyemi Rasheed Socrates, Prince Adebowale congratulated Hon. Oyekunle DoN on his emergence as Rep-Elect, describing his victory as a major win for young people across Oyo State.

He particularly applauded Governor Seyi Makinde for his unwavering support in promoting youth participation in politics.

> “We are saying a heartfelt thank you for giving us a youth as Rep-Elect in Ibadan North. This is not just a political win; it is a symbolic gesture that the future is being handed to those ready to build it,” Adebowale stated.

He further praised the PDP leadership for recognizing the importance of youth inclusion in governance, noting that Hon. Oyekunle’s candidacy and subsequent victory signal a shift towards a more representative and forward-thinking political structure.

Describing Fola DoN as a grassroots mobilizer with a track record of community development, Adebowale expressed confidence in his ability to deliver quality representation that reflects the aspirations of both the youth and the general populace of Ibadan North.

“We trust that Hon. Fola Oyekunle will justify the confidence reposed in him. He embodies the energy, innovation, and empathy that our constituency needs at this critical time,” he added.

He, however, expressed gratitude to the electorate for voting for inclusive governance and youth that is ready to transform the federal constituency to greater heights.

In conclusion, the Oyo State Agency for Youth Boss reaffirmed that the bye-election victory for PDP is a reactivation of further consolidation of Governor Makinde’s political influence in the state and a validation of the PDP’s youth-forward agenda.
