Babanumi Congratulates Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle, Commends Governor Seyi Makinde PDP on Victory in Ibadan North Bye-Election

Chief Mayegun Sunday Olusegun Babanumi, a prominent chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and 2027 aspirant for the Ibadan NorthWest/SouthWest Federal Constituency, has congratulated Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle and the entire PDP family on their resounding victory in the Ibadan North Federal Constituency bye-election held yesterday.

In his goodwill message, Babanumi described the triumph as a strong reflection of the people’s confidence in the PDP’s capacity to deliver good governance and meaningful development.

According to him, “This electoral triumph is a testament to the electorate’s belief in the party’s ability to deliver democratic dividends to the people. The PDP remains the only long-existing party in Nigeria that prioritizes the welfare of the people without suffocating them with economic hardship.”

He further commended the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for his visionary leadership and outstanding role in ensuring the victory.

Babanumi stressed that Makinde’s developmental agenda and achievements across Oyo State have continued to project the PDP as the party truly prepared to rescue Nigeria.

The PDP’s victory in the Ibadan North Federal Constituency, he noted, is not only a win for the party but also a reinforcement of the people’s trust in the Makinde-led administration and the PDP’s readiness to restore hope at the national level.
