The Executive Chairman of Ona Ara Local Government, Dr. Temitope Kolapo GLORIOUS, has extended warm congratulations to the Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Engr. Seyi Makinde, FNSE, and the First Lady, Engr. (Mrs.) Tamunominini Olufunke Makinde, on their esteemed installation as Aare Omoluabi and Yeye Aare Omoluabi of Akure Kingdom by the Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, Odundun II.
In a statement issued by the Chairman’s Press Secretary, Mr. Rahmon Alawode, Dr. GLORIOUS described the conferment as a well-earned honour that reflects the Governor’s visionary leadership and the First Lady’s unwavering support and service to humanity.
Dr. Temitope GLORIOUS emphasized that Governor Makinde stands tall as the Political Generalissimo of Oyo State, whose impact transcends the state and resonates across the South-West and the entire nation.
“The conferment of the titles Aare Omoluabi and Yeye Aare Omoluabi is a clear and public recognition of the Governor’s integrity, humility, and people-focused governance. It also celebrates the admirable virtues of the First Lady, whose compassion and quiet strength uplift countless lives. We at Ona Ara Local Government rejoice with them on this proud and historic moment,” the statement noted.
The Chairman further thanked the Deji of Akure for acknowledging Governor Makinde’s contributions to societal progress, and for promoting the age-old Yoruba cultural heritage through the honour.
Dr. GLORIOUS concluded by praying for divine guidance, renewed strength, and greater wisdom for the Governor and his wife, as they continue to exemplify the Omoluabi values in leadership and service.
