Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, and his wife, the First Lady, Mrs. Tamunominini Makinde, were on Thursday conferred with the prestigious titles of Aare Omoluabi of Akure Kingdom and Yeye Aare Omoluabi of Akure Kingdom by the Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi.


Hon. Olufemi Onireti has expressed delight at the development, describing it as a recognition of the governor’s remarkable contributions to governance and humanity.
Onireti, a chieftain of the ruling party in the state, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), commended Engr. Makinde for exceeding expectations, noting with pride that his impact is being acknowledged beyond the borders of Oyo State.
“I congratulate His Excellency, Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, on his conferment with the revered title of Aare Omoluabi of Akure Kingdom by the Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi.”
