Lawmaker representing Ibadan North East/South East federal constituency of Oyo State, Rep. Abass Adigun (Agboworin) has extended his heartfelt congratulations to four illustrious sons of Ibadan North Local Government, who were recently appointed into strategic positions by Governor Makinde.
The newly appointed officials include:
Hon. Adeniyi Adeyinka Kazim Bibire, Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor
– Hon. Taiwo Lekan Salami, Chairman of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC)
– Hon. Kabiru Salami, Executive Assistant on Security Coordination
– Hon. Waheed Adeniyi, Chairman of Oyo State Waste Management Authority.
In a press statement signed by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Comrade Mayowa Okekale, the lawmaker hailed Governor Makinde for the appointments, describing the gesture as a monumental show of love and confidence towards the people of Ibadan North.
He commended the governor’s leadership style, saying, “His Excellency has continued to demonstrate an unmatched commitment to excellence, fairness, and development.”
Agboworin, a two-term lawmaker and Chairman, House Committee on Narcotic Drugs, congratulated the new appointees and wished them success in their new roles.
He noted that the appointments reflect the governor’s strategic and inclusive governance.
He urged the new appointees to view their appointments as calls to higher service and to justify the confidence reposed in them through loyalty, integrity, and quality performance.
He expressed confidence that the appointments would further enhance the development of Ibadan North and Oyo State as a whole.
