As the Muslim Ummah marks the beginning of a new Islamic year, Hijrah 1447, the Chairman of the Oyo State Community and Social Development Agency (OYCSDA), Honourable Abideen Adeaga, has extended warm felicitations to Muslims across Oyo State and beyond, urging them to embrace the spirit of unity, reflection, and renewed spiritual commitment.
In his goodwill message, Hon. Adeaga described the Hijrah as not just a historical migration of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) from Makkah to Madinah, but a powerful reminder of sacrifice, perseverance, and the pursuit of a just and moral society under the guidance of divine principles.

As we step into Hijrah 1447, I congratulate our Muslim brothers and sisters for witnessing yet another opportunity to reflect on our journey of faith and purpose,” Hon. He also emphasized the importance of communal harmony and urged the Muslim faithful to continue praying for the peace, progress, and development of Oyo State and Nigeria at large.
