The Executive Chairman of Ibarapa Central Local Government, Hon. Adeleke Ayodele Olusola has extended warm greetings and heartfelt felicitations to all Muslim faithful in Ibarapa Central and across Oyo State on the occasion of the Islamic New Year, Hijrah 1447 A.H.

In a goodwill message made available by his personal assistant Azeez Sodiq Adesina, Hon. Adeleke described the Hijrah as a season of deep reflection, spiritual renewal, purposeful redirection and community harmony.

“As we mark the beginning of Hijrah 1447, I celebrate with all our Muslim brothers and sisters,” he said. “This season reminds us of Prophet Muhammad’s (SAW) courageous journey and the steadfast faith that shaped the foundation of Islam. It is a time to renew our moral compass, promote unity and uphold values that bring development and progress to our dear communities.”

Hon. Adeleke further appreciated the peaceful coexistence and contributions of the Muslim community toward the growth and development of Ibarapa Central and the entire state. He also applauded the leadership of His Excellency, Governor Engr Seyi Makinde, for continuously championing inclusivity and religious tolerance across Oyo State.

The Chairman urged residents to pray for the peace and prosperity of Nigeria, Oyo State and Ibarapa land in particular, adding that his administration remains committed to delivering people-oriented governance and improving the lives of the citizens.

“As we step into this new Islamic year, may Almighty Allah grant us all renewed strength, wisdom and blessings to navigate the days ahead. Hijrah Mubarak to all our Muslim faithful.”
