Hon. Gbenga Adewusi ‘Arole’ Celebrates Fathers, Commends Governor Seyi Makinde’s Exemplary Leadership

As the world commemorates Father’s Day, Hon. Gbenga Ayinde Adewusi, popularly known as Arole, has extended warm greetings to fathers across the nation, while specially recognizing the exemplary leadership and fatherly disposition of the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Engr. Seyi Makinde, FNSE.

In a statement issued in Ibadan, Hon. Arole described fathers as the backbone of every home and community, commending their sacrifices, resilience, and unwavering commitment to raising responsible children and building a better society.

> “Today, I celebrate all fathers and father figures who are playing their roles with dignity and purpose. Fatherhood is not just about provision — it is about love, protection, guidance, and values. I also seize this moment to salute our leader, Governor Seyi Makinde, a true father to the people of Oyo State,” he said.

Hon. Arole noted that Governor Makinde’s leadership has consistently embodied the traits of a noble father: selflessness, vision, patience, and justice. He praised the Governor for transforming Oyo State through people-centered policies in education, healthcare, infrastructure, and economic development.

> “His Excellency is not just leading with competence, he is governing with a father’s heart. His humility, accessibility, and sincere concern for the welfare of the masses stand him out as a role model — not only in politics, but in life,” Arole added.

He urged other leaders and fathers across the country to emulate the Governor’s style of purposeful and compassionate leadership, adding that Nigeria’s future depends on the strength of its families and the values passed on by fathers.

> “Strong fathers raise strong children. And strong children become great citizens. Let us use this Father’s Day to renew our commitment to nurturing and mentoring the next generation with integrity.”

Hon. Arole concluded by praying for wisdom and strength for all fathers and continued divine guidance for Governor Seyi Makinde as he leads Oyo State toward greater prosperity.
