Eid al-Adha: Ibadan North East LG Chairman, Akintayo Extends Warm Felicitations to Muslim Faithfuls

The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo aka (O mu Yes)has urged Muslim community to continue praying fervently for the peace, progress, and prosperity of our great nation, Nigeria as they celebrate the Eid al-Adha.

Hon Akintayo who is also the Aare Akeweje Adinni of Oyo State and Alaranse Adinni of Moniya gave this urge while sending warm greetings to all Muslim faithfuls in Ibadan North East Local Government and Oyo State as a whole.

In a release issued by the Council’s Information Officer, Ikeoye Oyetoro, the Chairman felicitates with Muslim brothers and sisters home and abroad on this year Eid-al -Adha celebration while thanking God for His blessings and protection over everyone in the local government area.

The Council Boss notes that the Eid al-Adha is a momentous occasion in the Islamic calendar and it serves as a crucial reminder of the unwavering faith and obedience of Prophet Ibrahim, who demonstrated unshakeable devotion to Allah by willingly surrendering his son Ismail as a sacrifice. This celebration embodies the spirit of selflessness and gratitude bringing Muslims worldwide together in a shared experience of joy, reflection, and communal bonding, as they commemorate the triumph of faith over material attachment and the boundless mercy of Allah.

Hon Akintayo encourages all residents of Ibadan North East LG to embody the values of sacrifice, generosity, and kindness that underpin this celebration so that the community will become a more harmonious and prosperous place for all.

The Chairman also extends his warm felicitations to His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, on the occasion of the Eid al-Adha celebration. He prays that the spirit of unity and cooperation that defines this festive period will continue to guide the leadership of Oyo State and its people.

As the Eid al-Adha celebration continues, Hon. Akintayo felicitates with Muslim brothers and sisters in Ibadan North East LG, the Legislative Council, Supervisors, Special Assistants, League of Imams, religious leaders, market and community leaders, management staff, and the entire staff members of Ibadan North East Local Government.
