As Muslims across Nigeria prepare to celebrate Eid-el-Kabir, Hon. Kehinde Giwa, a leading aspirant for the House of Representatives seat in Ibadan NorthWest/SouthWest Federal Constituency, has extended warm greetings to the Muslim faithful in his constituency and across Oyo State.

In his Eid message, Giwa congratulated Muslims for witnessing another season of sacrifice, devotion, and spiritual renewal. He urged the faithful to use the occasion to reflect on the values of Prophet Ibrahim’s obedience and sacrifice, which underpin the essence of the celebration.
“Eid-el-Kabir is a sacred moment that reminds us of the virtues of faith, patience, and selfless giving,” Giwa stated. “Let us continue to promote love, compassion, and peaceful coexistence within our communities.”

Hon. Giwa specially extended greetings to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, appreciating the unity and strength of the party structure across the state.

“I salute the leadership and members of our great party, the PDP, in Oyo State for their steadfastness, unity, and commitment to progress. As we celebrate this season, I pray it ushers in continued harmony and victories for our party.”

He also commended the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Engr. Seyi Makinde, for his proactive support to Muslim communities during the festive period, especially the distribution of subsidised food items and palliatives to help ease the burden of inflation on citizens.
“Governor Seyi Makinde has once again demonstrated people-centered leadership by ensuring that no one is left behind during this period. His subsidised food programme for Muslim faithful during Eid-el-Kabir is a reflection of true governance driven by empathy.”

Giwa called on residents of Ibadan NorthWest/SouthWest to continue to support one another and to pray for peace, economic recovery, and good leadership across all levels of government.
“As we gather with our loved ones, let us also remember to pray for our nation and renew our commitment to a better, more united Nigeria.
Eid Mubarak to all!”
