The member representing Lagelu State Constituency in Oyo State House of assembly, Hon Olajide Akintunde politically known as AKT has extended gratitude over the completion of Olodo bridge and tender a heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde for his visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to the people of Oyo State, as demonstrated by the remarkable progress over the last 6 years of his administration.
In the double celebration, the house committee on local government, Chieftaincy matter and State Honors, Hon AKT acknowledged Governor Makinde’s giant stride and initiative in revitalizing the economic system of Oyo State, which reconstruction of Olodo bridge is among the lifeline and critical projects that links neighboring states, communities who shared economic advantage with us.
He maintained that Oyo State, under the stewardship of Governor Makinde, has become a standard example of progressive governance, with achievements that have placed the state on the national and international map for positive reasons.
Hon AKT said “the governor’s Roadmap for Accelerated Development in his first term did not only revive moribund sectors but also rekindled the faith of the people in the possibilities of good governance.”
He established that “Governor Makinde has made governance look noble again through the premium priority he placed on the welfare of civil servants and pensioners, and the visible transformation in health, security, infrastructure, education, agribusiness, and what have you.”
“On behalf of the people of Lagelu Local Government, I’m extending my deepest gratitude and congratulations to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde on his sixth anniversary in office and steadfast dedication to rebuilding not just a bridge, but the hopes and aspirations of our people,” Hon AKT said.
