The Ona-Ara Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman, Hon. Mosobalaje Bakare, has described OTOPE as a visionary and compassionate leader, drawing a direct comparison to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde. He made the remark during the OTOPE Foundation Medical Outreach held at the Foundation’s office, Sheriff Bus-Stop, off Akanran Road, Ibadan, on Friday, May 2, 2025.
Speaking at the event, which offered free medical services to hundreds of residents, Hon. Bakare commended OTOPE’s unwavering commitment to grassroots development and humanitarian service.
“In OTOPE, we see the spirit of Governor Seyi Makinde—selfless, people-oriented, and focused on uplifting the lives of the common man,” Hon. Bakare stated. “This medical outreach is not just a kind gesture; it reflects his deep dedication to community well-being. Leaders like OTOPE represent the future of our party and local governance.”
He further called for the replication of such initiatives across all local government areas, emphasizing that the Ona-Ara PDP is proud to have a leader of OTOPE’s caliber at the forefront of social development.
The outreach featured free medical consultations, drug distribution, health screenings, and referrals, and was well-attended by party stakeholders, community leaders, and residents from across the Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency.
The event drew notable dignitaries, including; Hon. Mufutau Ogunremi, Senior Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde, Hon. Dr. Kolapo Temitope-Glorious, Executive Chairman of Ona-Ara Local Government, Hon. Mosobalaje Bakare, Ona-Ara PDP Chairman, Alh. Waheed Adurodekun, PDP Leader, Segun O.
