Akinyele/Lagelu Agog As Chief Benedict Akika Host OBF New Year Party, Receives 2 Community Development Awardz

In a dazzling display of community spirit and generosity, Chief Benedict Akika, the Agbaakin olorundaaba Aba and mayegun of akobo, hosted a vibrant New Year party at his Olorunda residence for members of the Omituntun Benedict Forum (OBF). The event, a longstanding tradition, marked yet another year of celebration and camaraderie among the OBF community.

Amidst the lively atmosphere, Hon. Kazeem Gbadamosi, the Executive Chairman of Lagelu Local Government, delivered a heartfelt speech, extending prayers for the success of OBF members. Emphasizing the importance of pure-mindedness and kindness, he also blessed Chief Akika for his continued success.

Praising Chief Akika’s unwavering commitment to community happiness, Hon. Kamorudeen Mudashiru, the PDP Chairmanship Candidate in Lagelu Local Government, lauded the philanthropist’s unbelievable gestures that consistently bring joy to the common people.

In a notable first-time attendance, Chief Olubayo Okeyode expressed his delight, acknowledging Chief Akika’s positive impact on lives.

He highlighted Akika’s demonstration that “politics is local” and urged everyone to participate actively in the upcoming local government election.

Oyo state Commissioner for Youth and Sport, Hon. Wasilat Adegoke, took the stage to appreciate all the leaders present and encourage the community’s engagement in the political process.

She thanked Agbaakin Benedict Akika for always extending hands of upliftment to the commoners and prayed to God to continue to shower his endless blessings on him.

She used the opportunity to canvass support for Lagelu PDP chairmanship candidate in the forthcoming Local government, hon. Kamorudeen Mudashiru.

Fundamentally, hon. Wasilat assured the youth of her commitment to their welfare.

As the event unfolded, Chief Akika seized the opportunity to announce a mega empowerment program for OBF members, promising widespread benefits.

The atmosphere was further charged as the Professional Event Planner and Food Vendors Association of Nigeria presented Chief Benedict Akika with an award, recognizing his significant contributions to the community.

In a touching gesture, Maudu Musbaudeen honored Chief Akika with an award of excellence, acknowledging his respect for all religions without discrimination.

The diverse gathering included notable figures such as Oyo state Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Hon. Wasilat Adegoke, Senior special assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on students affairs, victor Olojede, Chief Alhaja Ibitoye Wulemot, Hon. Makadoff, Lagelu Executive Chairman Hon. Kazeem, Lagelu PDP Chairmanship Candidate Hon. Kamoru, Akinyele PDP Chairmanship Candidate Hon. Wole Akinleye, Hon. Simple, Egbeda PDP vice chairmanship candidate, Hon. Adeaga, Chief Olubayo Okeyode, Basorun saint abbey, Adelowo Michael (coded) and many more.

Chief Benedict Akika’s New Year party not only fostered community bonds but also showcased the significance of local leadership and philanthropy in creating a positive impact on the lives of residents.

As the night concluded, the echoes of laughter and expressions of gratitude lingered, leaving an indelible mark on the OBF community.
