The First Lady of Ibarapa Central Local Government, Mrs. Adeleke Olusola Adebimpe has joined women across the globe in celebrating this year International Women’s Day recognizing the strength, resilience and invaluable contributions of women in shaping society.

In her heartfelt message signed on Saturday March 8,2025, Mrs. Adeleke emphasized the need for continuous empowerment and support for women in leadership, entrepreneurship, education and governance.

According to Mrs Adeleke Adebimpe :

“Women are the pillars of our homes, communities and the nation at large. Their dedication, sacrifices, and continued commitment to progress deserve to be acknowledged and celebrated. This year’s theme reminds us of the importance of inclusivity and equal opportunities for women in all spheres of life.”

She commended the women of Ibarapa Central for their immense contributions to community development, especially in education, healthcare, business and governance. She reaffirmed her commitment to advocating for policies and initiatives that promote the welfare and advancement of women, urging everyone to continue supporting and uplifting the women around them.

As the world marks this special occasion, Mrs. Adeleke encouraged women to remain steadfast, courageous and determined in their pursuit of excellence.
