In a bid to empower boys and promote social responsibility, representatives from the Oyo State Anti-Social Vices Club paid a courtesy visit to the State Agency for Youth Development chairman’s office.

The delegation, led by Mr. Egundirin O. Abiodun, National President of the Anti-Social Vices Club, and Adewale Israel Oluwadamola, Oyo State Chapter lead, met with Hon. Adebowale Adebayo Falana to discuss proposals for establishing an organization focused on empowering boys.

The chairman expressed gratitude for the organization’s innovative idea and pledged support for the project.

According to him, Governor Makinde has taken several steps to empower the inspiring youth in Pacesetter State in terms of vocational Skills acquisition, entrepreneurial training, digital marketing, web development, Amazon Kindle Publishing, youth apprenticeship program, as well as agribusiness projects.

He maintained that the Governor had hosted several youth self-reliance programs in developing skills and psychomotor domains and necessary empowerment programs.

He further emphasized his eagerness to be actively involved in the initiative, which aims to positively impact youth development in Oyo State.

During the visit, the delegation presented a detailed proposal outlining their plans for the organization, which includes mentorship programs, skills training, and community service projects. The chairman commended the group for their thoroughness and commitment to making a difference in the lives of young people.

This collaborative effort is a significant step towards creating a brighter future for the youth in Oyo State. By empowering boys and promoting social responsibility, the Oyo State Anti-Social Vices Club and the Agency for Youth Development are working together to build a better tomorrow.

The visit ended with a group photograph and a promise to work together to make the project a success. The Oyo State Anti-Social Vices Club and the Agency for Youth Development look forward to a fruitful partnership that will benefit the youth of Oyo State.
