Oyo State PDP Secretary, Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke, Commissions New Ibadan North PDP Secretariat in Yemetu

The Ibadan North Local Government PDP has commissioned its new party secretariat office in Yemetu, Ibadan, amid a joyful celebration by party leaders, executives, and members.

The event was marked by an atmosphere of happiness and unity as the new office was officially commissioned by the Oyo State PDP Secretary, Alhaji Wasiu Adewumi Adeleke.

In his address, Alhaji Adeleke dedicated the new office to the service of the party and commended the collective effort that made the acquisition possible.

He praised the leadership of Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, describing him as a respectful and humble youth who effectively cares for both the party and the masses.

Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke also praised the party chairman of Ibadan North PDP, Prince Seun Adelere, and his executives for putting their house in order.

Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke encouraged party members to continue supporting Hon. Olufade and emphasized the importance of unity within the party.

In his remark, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade expressed his gratitude and joy, acknowledging the significant achievement during his tenure.

He highlighted the collaborative effort that led to the establishment of the new secretariat, noting that donations came from leaders, elders, executives, and party members alike.

Hon. Olufade was particularly moved by the contributions from those who were not present at the initial stakeholders’ meeting.

During the event, Baba Lukman Agboluaje provided a detailed account of the funds raised and expenditures, ensuring transparency in the financial aspects of the project.

The Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Seyi Makinde, Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle Don, along with Hon. Olufunke Comforter, the Oyo State House of Assembly member representing Ibadan North Constituency 1, also expressed their delight at the new secretariat.

They highlighted the unity and family-like atmosphere within the Ibadan North PDP.

A significant moment of the ceremony was when Mogaji Olawore Abdulsobir, a lover of Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration , expressed his happiness to be present at the occasion.

Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke urged all party members to rally around the chosen candidate for the upcoming Federal House of Representatives by-election in Ibadan North Federal Constituency, emphasizing that Ibadan North’s example should serve as a template for other local governments in terms of unity and party member engagement.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks from PDP leader Baba Ashipa, who thanked Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke for attending and prayed for continued success and unity within the party.
