Member, House of Representatives, representing Ibadan North-East/South-East Federal Constituency, Rep. Abass A. Adigun, popularly known as Agboworin, has extended warm congratulations to Engr. Akin Akinleye on his appointment as Executive Assistant on Sports Development and Prince Olumuyiwa Akinbiyi as Board member of the Broadcasting Corporation Of Oyo State to Governor Makinde, as well as others.
In a warm congratulatory message signed by his Special Assistant on New Media, Aremu Ibraheem, which was made available to journalists in Ibadan, on Monday, Agboworin expressed delighted at their appointments, as well as others including Hon. Akinsola Ismael (Member, Oyo South), who hails from Ibadan North East LG; Mogaji Oladosu Ademola (Vice Chairman, Oyo South) as Oyo State Pacesetter Transport Service Board member, from Ibadan South East LG, saying they deserve it.
Agboworin, who chairs the House Committee on Narcotic Drugs, noted that Engr Akinleye’s appointment is a testament to his dedication, expertise, and passion for sports development.
He noted further that the appointment is a significant milestone in the development of sports in Oyo State, saying that his wealth of experience and knowledge will undoubtedly contribute to development of Sports in the state.
Similarly, the lawmaker expressed satisfaction in the appointment of Prince Olumuyiwa Akinbiyi as a Board member of the Broadcasting Corporation Of Oyo State, saying that he is confident that he will excel in his new role and make a positive impact in the State’s Corporation.
He, therefore, commended Governor Makinde for recognizing their potentials and appointing them to occupy strategic positions in his administration.
“This appointment demonstrates the Governor’s commitment to drive progress in the Broadcasting Corporation and developing sports in Oyo State.
“I want to wish the appointees good luck and success in their new roles as I am confident that they will all make a lasting impact on the various offices they have been assigned to occupy,” Agboworin stated.
