The newly appointed supervisory councillors and Special Assistants of Ido Local Government have been urged to view their appointments as a call to serve the entire citizenry of the local government.
This directive was issued by the Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, during the swearing-in ceremony held in his office. Hon. Adeojo emphasized the importance of rising above pettiness and narrow-mindedness in their duties, reminding them that their primary mission is to serve the people and contribute positively to the growth of the local government by leveraging their wealth of experience.
The chairman stressed the need for the appointees to critically examine issues and act in accordance with the oaths they took. He wasted no time in assigning portfolios to the newly sworn-in supervisors and Special Assistants, ensuring that each individual is positioned to best support the administration’s goals.
