PHOTOS: Ibadan South West Local Government Chairman Convenes Security Council Meeting, Addresses Key Concerns

In Ibadan South West Local Government, inorder to prevent insecurity issues in the area, Honourable Kehinde Akande, Chairman of Ibadan South West Local Government, summoned a security council meeting at the council’s headquarters. The gathering united high-ranking security personnel, traditional leaders, and key stakeholders to brainstorm and develop strategies aimed at guaranteeing the security and welfare of the community’s residents.

In his official remarks, Honourable Akande emphasized the importance of collaboration and intelligence sharing in combating crime and maintaining peace in the community. He expressed his commitment to supporting security agencies in their efforts to protect lives and property.

“We must work together to ensure our community remains a safe haven for all,” Akande stressed. “I urge everyone to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the authorities.”

The meeting also addressed issues related to community policing, and conflict resolution. The council chairman reiterated his administration’s dedication to providing necessary resources and support to enhance security in Ibadan South West Local Government.

Present at the meeting were Honourable Tajudeen Adigun Àtú, Vice Chairman of the council, Local Government Staff, representatives from the Nigeria Police Force, Department of State Services, Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, traditional leaders, and other stakeholders. The collective resolve to tackle security challenges and ensure a safer community was evident, and the meeting concluded with a renewed sense of purpose and cooperation.
