Oyo Lawmaker, Omikunle Congratulates Gov.Makinde,Oba Olakulehin On Coronation Of Olubadan

In the mood of celebrating double landmark achievement in the history of Ibadan the capital city of Oyo and the most biggest city in west Africa.

The honourable member representing Ibadan South East Constituency 2 at the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon.Olayinka Omikunle has congratulates the executive governor of Oyo State,His Excellency Engr Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde on his dual carriage achievement of New ultra modern palace of Olubadan Of Ibadan and successful Coronation of the 43rd Olubadan Of Ibadan land.

Gov.Makinde on Friday 12th July 2024, officially present the staff of office to the new Olubadan Of Ibadan land,His Imperial Majesty Oba Major Owolabi Olakulehin who ascended the throne of his forefathers and became the 43rd Olubadan Of Ibadan land

Oba Olakulehin became the new paramount ruler of Ibadan, having met all the requirements by climbing the ladder from Mogaji to the most senior chief (Balogun) before he eventually crowned as the 43rd Olubadan after the demise of the late Olubadan Oba Sen Olalekan Balogun (Alli Okunmade II)

The lawmaker, who described the new Olubadan Of Ibadan land Oba (Major) Owolabi Olakulehin as a father of all Ibadan indigenes home and abroad who has been playing an active roles ever since he became Ibadan chief till today that he officially became Olubadan Of Ibadan land.

Hon.Olayinka Omikunle who also tagged Oba Olakulehin as the most favoured Olubadan ahead his predecessor as his administration will be ruling the most popular city in west Africa from their newly ultra modern palace in Oke Aremo Ibadan.

The Chairman house committee on Public Private Partnerships at the Oyo 10th assembly also congratulates the honourable commissioner for local government and chieftaincy matters, Hon, Segun Olayiwola, the 0Olubadan in council, members of Central Council Of Ibadan indigenes and other prominent personalities of Ibadan.
