Former Oyo Deputy Governor His Excellency Barrister Hazeem Gbolarumi, has expressed condolences to Deputy National Chairman, South of PDP, Ambassador Taofeek Oladejo Arapaja over the death of his mother, Alhaja Limotalah Eniola Oladejo Arapaja who died at 91 on Wednesday.
Barrister Gbolarumi, in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Olaniyi Stephen, described the late Alhaja Limitalah Eniola Arapaja as a devoted Muslim leader, supportive mother, confidant and encourager.
The Governor said the deceased, during her lifetime, was an epitome of kindness, forthrightness and courage, same qualities which her son, Taofeek Arapaja exhibits as a public servant.
Gbolarumi noted that the late Madam Arapaja was a rallying point for the Arapajas following the departure of their patriarch many years ago and did not waiver in standing in the gap for them till she breathed her last.
Gbolarumi noted that though the late Alhaja Limitalah Eniola Arapaja lived to a ripe age, the vacuum created by her demise would make her children and close associates who usually looked up to her for prayers and wise counsel miss her sorely.
“I commiserate with my dear brother, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja on the passing of his beloved mother, Alhaja Limitalah Eniola Arapaja. Mama was a woman of grace, blessed by Almighty Allah. She did not only give her children good education and supported them, she witnessed their greatness. She was a rallying point for many who are close to the family.
“Although her passing would leave a vacuum, it is a glorious exit, a celebration of life well spent in the service of Almighty Allah and humanity with attendant positive impact on the lives of many.
“On behalf of my family, my Political family and good people of Ibadan North local government, I commiserate with my brother, the Deputy National Chairman of PDP, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja and the entire Arapajas on this irreparable loss. May Almighty Allah grant the departed beloved mother eternal rest”, Gbolarumi said.
