7 Years of Impactful Leadership: KSA Celebrates Governor Seyi Makinde’s Transformative Legacy, Backs His 2027 APM Presidential Bid

As His Excellency, Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde, FNSE, marks seven remarkable years in office as Executive Governor of Oyo State since May 29, 2019, Hon. Kolawole Sheu Adedeji, the Allied People’s Movement APM candidate for Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency in the 2027 elections, has joined millions of Oyo residents and Nigerians to celebrate a legacy of visionary leadership, infrastructural renewal, and people-centered governance.

In a congratulatory message made available to newsmen, Hon. Kolawole Adedeji described Governor Makinde’s seven-year tenure as “seven years of deliberate reforms, strategic investments, and unwavering commitment to the prosperity of Oyo State.” He said the governor’s administration has redefined governance in the state by prioritizing education, healthcare, security, infrastructure, and youth empowerment.

“From the reconstruction and rehabilitation of over 500km of roads across the state, including the landmark 65km Moniya-Iseyin Road and the Ibadan Circular Road project, to the upgrade of health facilities and the consistent payment of workers’ salaries and pensions, Governor Makinde has proven that governance can be impactful and transparent,” Adedeji stated.

He particularly commended the governor’s bold strides in education, including the renovation of over 600 public schools, the recruitment of thousands of teachers, and the free education policy that has eased the burden on parents. He also praised the administration’s investment in agribusiness and the Oyo State Agribusiness Development Agency OYSADA, which has positioned the state as a hub for agri-industrial development.

Hon. Adedeji further lauded Governor Makinde’s leadership in security through the establishment of the Oyo State Security Network Agency, codenamed ‘Amotekun’, and the procurement of 100 patrol vehicles, which have significantly improved safety across the state.

Celebrating the governor’s recent emergence as National Leader and presidential candidate of the Allied People’s Movement APM for the 2027 general elections, Hon. Kolawole Adedeji described the development as timely and well-deserved.

“Governor Makinde’s record in Oyo State is a national asset. His pragmatic, data-driven, and inclusive style of leadership is exactly what Nigeria needs at this time. As the APM presidential candidate for 2027, he represents competence, integrity, and a proven blueprint for development.
