2027: Oyo Reps Hopeful Giwa Urges Supporters to Remain United for PDP

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and aspirant for the Ibadan NorthWest/SouthWest Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives, Hon. Kehinde Oladapo Giwa, has called on his supporters to remain united and committed to the ideals of the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Giwa made this appeal during a consultative meeting held at the party secretariat, where aspirants vying for the federal legislative position convened to deliberate on the future of the constituency and the strength of the PDP in Oyo State.

Addressing a gathering of party faithful and supporters, Giwa emphasized the importance of unity, loyalty, and collective effort in ensuring the party’s continued dominance in the state. He noted that internal cohesion remains critical to achieving victory at the polls.

The aspirant used the occasion to commend the leadership of the party in Oyo State, particularly the Executive Governor, Seyi Makinde, for his visionary leadership and commitment to good governance. He also lauded the roles of Hon. Dayo Ogungbenro, the State Party Chairman, Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke, and other key stakeholders for fostering stability and inclusiveness within the party structure.

Giwa further expressed gratitude to his numerous supporters who attended the meeting, acknowledging their unwavering support and dedication to his aspiration. He assured them that their trust would not be taken for granted, pledging to represent the constituency with integrity, competence, and a people-centered approach if elected.

He urged party members to put aside differences and work together in the interest of the PDP, stressing that only a united front can guarantee success in the forthcoming elections.

“As we prepare for 2027, we must remain focused, united, and committed to the progress of our party and our people. Together, we can achieve victory and deliver quality representation to our constituency,” Giwa stated.
