Oloye Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke (FCA), the Aare Egbe Omo Balogun of Ibadanland, on Wednesday received a high-powered delegation of the Ibadan SouthWest Local Government PDP Executives at his office located in Solutions 93.9 FM, Oke Ado, Ibadan.
The delegation, comprising 19 Local Government Executive members led by the LGA Chairman, Hon. Kunle Folarin, alongside 12 Ward Chairmen, visited to appreciate Oloye Adegoke for his unwavering support to the party.
During the visit, the executives tabled three key requests: the need for a new Party House, provision of Season’s Greetings packages, and the replacement of outdated chairs used for party meetings.
In his response, Oloye Adegoke expressed heartfelt appreciation for the courtesy visit, describing it as a sign of unity and commitment to strengthening the party at the grassroots. He recalled that the current chairs being used for Ibadan SouthWest PDP meetings were purchased by him in 2018, affirming his continued readiness to improve the party’s infrastructure.
Addressing their requests, the PDP gubernatorial hopeful urged the executives to identify a befitting and strategically located facility for the new Party House, assuring them that he would fully finance and establish the office once the location is confirmed. He further disclosed that Season’s Greetings welfare gifts for party members had already been planned and would be distributed accordingly.
As part of his gesture of goodwill and appreciation for their visit, Oloye Adegoke donated ₦5,000,000 to the delegation to support transportation and other logistics.
The visit further reinforced Chief Adegoke’s standing as a grassroots-focused political leader and a formidable figure within the PDP as he intensifies consultations ahead of the 2027 gubernatorial race.
