The Executive Chairman of Ibarapa Central Local Government, Hon. Olusola Adeleke has congratulated Christians across the local government as they join millions of people around the world to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, describing the season as a powerful reminder of sacrifice, humility, love and hope for mankind.

In his Christmas goodwill message made available by his personal assistant Azeez Sodiq to the people of Ibarapa Central, Hon. Adeleke noted that the Yuletide season offers an opportunity for sober reflection, renewed faith in God and a recommitment to peaceful coexistence among residents, irrespective of religious, political or social differences.
According to the Executive Chairman, the birth of Jesus Christ symbolizes divine love and redemption for humanity. He urged residents to draw inspiration from the life and teachings of Christ by extending compassion to one another, supporting the less privileged and strengthening the bonds of unity across towns and communities within the local government.

Hon. Adeleke expressed heartfelt appreciation to the good people of Ibarapa Central for their continued support, cooperation and trust in his administration, stressing that their encouragement has remained a strong motivation for his resolve to deliver purposeful, people-oriented governance at the grassroots level in line with the vision of the Oyo State Government under the leadership of His Excellency, Governor Engr Seyi Makinde.


While acknowledging the prevailing socio-economic challenges facing the nation, the Chairman reassured residents of his administration’s steadfast commitment to the promotion of peace, security, infrastructural development, youth empowerment and social welfare in Ibarapa Central.

He further called on parents, guardians and youths to celebrate responsibly during the festive period, avoid actions capable of disrupting public peace, and uphold the values of tolerance, mutual respect and communal harmony that define Ibarapa Central as a united and progressive society.
Hon. Adeleke concluded by praying for God’s continued protection and guidance over Ibarapa Central Local Government, Oyo State, and Nigeria at large, while wishing all residents a joyful Christmas celebration and a prosperous New Year filled with peace, renewed hope, and shared progress.
