In the heart of Oyo State, the air is thick with renewed hope and determination.

Across communities, on campuses, in tech hubs, and at local joints, a singular voice is rising from the youth: “Give us Adegoke in 2027, we want SOLUTIONS!” This is more than a slogan; it is a rallying cry rooted in the hunger for sustainable progress, meaningful engagement, and inclusive leadership that aligns with the lived realities of young people in Oyo State.

The recent declaration by Oloye Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke to contest the 2027 governorship election under the banner of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) marks a significant turning point. With the poise of a seasoned statesman and the conviction of a grassroots leader, Adegoke has made a bold statement: he fully supports the accelerated and sustainable development strides of the current governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, and pledges to build upon them through a strategic vision of incremental development from 2027 to 2031.

This is precisely what Oyo State, especially its youth has long awaited: not an overhaul that discards what’s working, but a practical roadmap to deepen growth and scale progress.

Oloye Adegoke is not just a politician; he is a solution provider, an accomplished technocrat, a people investor, and, importantly, a true son of Ibadan.

As the Aare Egbe Omo Balogun of Ibadanland, his deep roots in Ibadan’s culture and tradition grant him a unique perspective, one that harmonizes modern governance with our cherished values and heritage.

From humble beginnings to commanding respect in the corporate and business world, Adegoke has consistently demonstrated resilience, vision, and leadership. His ventures have created jobs, empowered youth, and spurred local economic activity, exactly the kind of practical impact Ibadan’s young population is yearning for in government.

Moreover, his life journey has taken him through every zone of Oyo State and far beyond, across Nigeria and the global stage.

This exposure has equipped him with the competence and understanding to lead a diverse and dynamic state like ours.

The youth are not asking for favors, we are demanding responsive governance.

We want policies that open doors, not push us to the margins.

We want access to capital, not grants lost in paperwork.

We want inclusive education reform, functional healthcare, tech-driven innovation, and urban planning that includes public transportation, green spaces, and security.

Adegoke’s promise of incremental development offers a framework for lasting change, one that sustains the momentum already built under Governor Makinde, while introducing fresh energy and bold strategies tailored to today’s realities.

From the digital economy to community-based entrepreneurship and vocational development, Adegoke represents a forward-looking leadership model.

As 2027 approaches, one thing is certain: the youth demographic will shape the future of Oyo State.

But we are not just voting, we are researching, organizing, and demanding accountability.

We know that Adegoke brings more than ambition.

He brings the resources, networks, and strategic clarity required to get things done.

However, his campaign must now go beyond declarations.

It must speak the language of data, engagement, innovation, and co-creation.

If Adegoke truly listens to the youth, he will discover not just his strongest supporters but his sharpest collaborators.

Ibadan youth are speaking loud and clear:
Give us Adegoke in 2027, we want SOLUTIONS.
Not excuses.

Not politics as usual.
But ideas that work, actions that count, and a government that sees young people not as campaign tools, but as partners in progress.

The time for lip service is over.

The future belongs to leaders who build on today with a clear vision for tomorrow and from where we stand, Oloye Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke just might be that leader.

Let the work begin!
