Youth Day 2024: Oyo State Youths to Drive Digital Progress, Declares Agency Chairman

As the world celebrates International Youth Day 2024, the Chairman of the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development, Prince Adebowale Falana Adebayo, delivered a powerful message to the youth of Nigeria, particularly those in Oyo State.

This year’s theme, From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development,”* underscores the critical role that digital innovation plays in shaping a sustainable future—a vision that resonates deeply with the ongoing OMITITUN 2.0 initiative.

In his statement, Prince Adebayo congratulated Nigerian youths and highlighted the importance of equipping young people with the necessary tools and skills to fully harness the potential of the digital age.

He noted that since his assumption of office on May 20, 2024, he has been steadfast in aligning the Agency’s programs with the digital aspirations of Oyo State’s vibrant youth population.

“Under the exemplary leadership of His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, we are preparing to launch a series of unprecedented developmental programs,” Prince Adebayo announced.
