You’re a compassionate Mother touching lives of those in last line— Oyedeji Ahmed felicitates wife of Oyo Deputy Gov

The Special Assistant to Oyo Deputy Governor on Public Affairs, Ogbeni Oyedeji Ahmed also known as ‘LMP’ has felicitated with the wife of the Oyo Deputy Governor, Chief (Mrs) Ajibike Ajibola Lawal, on the occasion of her birthday anniversary.

Mr Oyedeji, in a congratulatory message made available to newsmen on Saturday, described Chief Ajibike Lawal as a modest, caring and compassionate mother who consistently improves the lives of widows, less privileged members of the society who often find themselves last in line.

While extolling Mrs Lawal’s virtue, especially for being a strong pillar of support to her husband, the Deputy Governor’s aide noted that her display of loyalty is worthy of emulation.

LMP averred that as a compassionate mother who blends decency with a devotion to excellence, she has been able to worm her way into the hearts of the people through her charitable gestures.

He commended the Yeye Ba’mofin of Kishiland for her constant consideration for widows, downtrodden as well as taking up philanthropic duty as her ‘Pet Project’ over the years, noting: “This is what life is all about. When God blesses you; it is more or less obligatory for you to be a blessing to other people”.

He equally described Mrs. Ajibike Lawal as an incredible woman, a lovely mother and wife, a role model to many, and an inspiration to everyone who comes her way, adding that her kindness, wisdom, and compassion have touched many lives.

“Today, I join other well wishers to celebrate a compassionate mother and Her Excellency, wife of Oyo Deputy Governor, Chief (Mrs) Ajibike Lawal on the occasion of her birthday anniversary.

“There are difficulties associated with being the spouse of a prominent figure, but you have handled yourself with dignity and grace, setting a great example for young women out there. We appreciate your unwavering support and dedication to the Deputy Governor, and we thank you for being there, always.

“People all around the state recognise your love for the downtrodden and less privileged. Over the years, you have had a significant impact on the lives of widows and people who frequently find themselves at the back of the line. Additionally, you have consistently helped many of us to get back on our feet and provided us shelter during the thin and thick of life. We are more than grateful.

“So, on this special day, I pray God Almighty to grant you sound health, wisdom and strength to continue to provide support for people and your husband for the betterment of Oyo state.”
