You Are Truly a Replica of Governor Makinde — Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke Lauds Dr. Temitope GLORIOUS’ Achievements …as Odo Onisebe Bridge is Commissioned in Ona Ara

The Deputy Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke, has showered encomiums on the Executive Chairman of Ona Ara Local Government, Dr. Temitope Kolapo GLORIOUS, describing him as a true replica of Governor Seyi Makinde in leadership style, vision, and commitment to grassroots development.

Alhaji Adeleke made this declaration during the commissioning of the 7th Omituntun–Glorious Bridge along the Oritamerin–Igisogba–Babanla Road, popularly known as Odo Onisebe Bridge.

Speaking at the well-attended ceremony, the PDP Vice Chairman noted that although he rarely attends local government project commissioning events, he made a personal decision to be present to witness firsthand the quality and consistency of projects being executed under Dr. GLORIOUS’ administration.

“What we are seeing here today confirms that Dr. Temitope Kolapo GLORIOUS is truly emulating the leadership philosophy of our great party leader and Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde. His performance speaks volumes, and this bridge is another testament to people-oriented governance,” Adeleke said.

He commended the Ona Ara Local Government Chairman for prioritising infrastructure that directly impacts the safety, mobility, and economic activities of residents, stressing that the Odo Onisebe Bridge would significantly improve connectivity and ease of movement for surrounding communities.

The commissioning ceremony attracted top government functionaries, party leaders, and community stakeholders. Present at the event were the Vice Chairman and Political Head of INUKAN LCDA, Hon. Windapo Oluwole; SSA to the Governor on SDGs and Financial Secretary of PDP Oyo State, Hon. Mufutau Olatunde Ogunremi; Full-Time Commissioner, Local Government Service Commission, Hon. Taiwo Akeem Oke; Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Babatunde Sunmonu; Chief of Staff, Hon. Isiaka Arinola; Assistant Secretary, Hon. Wakeel Akinola; and the Leader of the House, Hon. Abolade Femi, alongside councillors, supervisory councillors, and special assistants.

Also in attendance were the Head of Local Government Administration (HLGA), Alhaja Mujidat Ojewumi, the PDP Ona Ara Local Government Chairman, Alfa Kehinde Adeyemo, Party Leaders, Hon. Mosobalaje Bakare, Chief Waheed Ajao Aderodekun, Hon. Taiwo Ibrahim, Hon. Buniyamin Azeez, and other party stakeholders.

Speaking on behalf of the benefiting communities, Alhaji Imam Olatilewa offered prayers and glowing tributes to Dr. GLORIOUS, appreciating his swift intervention on the bridge project, which he described as a long-standing death trap.

“For years, this bridge posed serious danger to our people. Today, we are grateful that Dr. Temitope Kolapo GLORIOUS listened to our cries and acted promptly. May Almighty Allah continue to guide and strengthen his leadership,” he prayed.

The event also witnessed the presence of traditional rulers and community leaders led by Oba Kamarudeen Oniladuntan, alongside the Chief Imam of Ona Ara, CAN Coordinator, Babaloja, Iyaloja, Community Development Committees (CDC), and vibrant youth groups across the local government.

The commissioning of the Odo Onisebe Bridge further reinforces the GLORIOUS administration’s commitment to infrastructural renewal and sustainable development in Ona Ara Local Government.
