The Supervisory Councillor for Women Affairs and Special Duties in Irepo Local Government Area, Remi-Olarinde Fauziat Adenike, has expressed profound appreciation to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, and his deputy, Barr. Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal, for the long-awaited approval of the Igboho–Kishi Road reconstruction project.

In a statement issued on Thursday, the House of Assembly hopeful described the development as a major milestone toward boosting economic activities, easing transportation, and strengthening connectivity among communities within the Oke-Ogun zone.
According to her, the road serves as a vital link for farmers and traders across the region, and its reconstruction will significantly enhance socio-economic growth and improve the living standards of residents.

Yeye Nike, as she is fondly called, commended the visionary leadership of Governor Makinde and the steadfast commitment of Barrister Lawal to the progress and development of Oke-Ogun.


She further appealed to the people of the Old Irepo Federal Constituency to sustain their support and cooperation with the Oyo State Government, assuring that such unity will attract more impactful projects and accelerated development to the area and the entire Oke-Ogun region.
